New York – August 7, 2017 -- Art of Everyone is pleased to announce the debut of “LASER GUIDED PAINTING” a new crowd-sourced, LIVE PERFORMANCE ART installation taking place at Anita's Way at 135 W 42nd Street between 6th Ave and Broadway. This free event, from 12 p.m. - 7 p.m., is for people of all ages who want to express their creativity working directly with highly-skilled artists.  Anyone and everyone can co-create fine art with no artistic skill required.
Our Artist Conductors stand just a few feet on one side of a large, freestanding canvas and begin outlining an image using just a laser pointer and a vivid imagination. Participants in turn stand on the other side of the canvas and begin applying paint by following the laser dot as it travels around the canvas. The paint sticks that the participants use push through the canvas creating a two-sided image. A few hours later, a work of art has been created by dozens of people of all ages - the Artist Conductor never touches the canvas.
“LASER GUIDED PAINTING” is a 7-hour LIVE art activation open to the general public. During this time, a total of seven large-scale canvases, each measuring 7’ tall x 5' wide, will be created by participants under the direction of our Artist Conductors. A variety of artistic styles can be created ranging from faces to figures and contemporary to pop art.
Art of Everyone will engage people of all ages in a way that's never been done before, putting the creativity in the hands of the community.
12:00 a.m - 7:00 p.m.
Seven blank canvases will be painted under the direction of our Artist Conductors.
